my last question was self explanatory. The SURVEY - who pays for it?

Who pays for a real estate survey?
not set answer. depends who wants it for what purpose.

The seller is under no obligation to have a survey for his property. So if the buyer wants one the buyer buys one. If the seller thinks that it would improve saleability the seller might purchase one.

usally this is a pretty petty cost for a residence ...not really something to lose a sale over...
