Both. There are legitimate Get Paid For Survey sites (gozing.com, carol henderson, etc.) where you are asked to take surveys and paid or entered into a sweepstakes.
Real survey sites will not ask you for bank account or credit card information! It should not cost you anything to participate in a survey or to give your opinion.
If you are interested in taking surveys and online focus groups go to Volition.com and click on "Get Paid" on the left side of your screen. They have a list of sites that are reliable and have been tested by regular people. There is also a forum where you can get feedback on the different survey companies out there.
Have fun!
Do u really get paid for doing survey on the internet or is it a scam?
I’ve tried many ways to earn an income from home in the past by stuffing envelopes, surveys, mystery shopping, prepaid legal, market America, ACN, Avon and just lost a lot of time and money in the process. I’d hate for you to go through the same thing. However, I did find a way and a company I will stick with for the rest of my life. Yahoo doesn't allow us to relay links here but just know if the company doesn't offer a full money back guarantee, I would keep looking. Jennifer
Reply:you will get paid pennies... and most of it are scams...
Signs of a Work-at-Home Scamer
A Work-at-Home Scheme Promoter will:
* Never offer you regular salaried employment.
* Promise you huge profits and big part-time earnings.
* Use personal testimonials but never identify the person so that you could check with them.
* Require money for instructions or merchandise before telling you how the plan operates.
* Assure you of guaranteed markets and a huge demand for your handiwork.
* Tell you that no experience is necessary.
* Take your money and give you little or nothing in return except heartbreak and grief.
